In 2019, César Díaz was awarded the Caméra d’Or, or the Golden Camera for Nuestras Madres, his debut feature film as a director- scriptwriter, at the Cannes Film Festival. In Belgium, Nuestras Madres earned the prestigious Magritte du Cinéma for best debut film from the Académie André Delvaux, and was selected as the Belgian entry in the 2019, 91st Academy Awards.

Belgian and Guatemalan, César studied scriptwriting in Brussels. He also studied at La Fémis in Paris. He has edited several documentaries and more than ten fiction projects, with standout work including both Ixcanul and Temblores by Jayro Bustamante.

Additionally, he worked on the acclaimed films, 1991 by Sergio Ramírez; Diciembres by Enrique Castro Rios, and Chaco by Diego Mondaca.

He has been appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Culture Minister. Currently, he is developing three full-length features Appelle-moi Marie, Los Jueces and Fidelidad.

Guatemalan film producer graduated from the EICTV international film school in Cuba. He worked in Brazil as Head of Production in Lume Filmes. Selected in 2021 l'Atelier of the Cannes Film Festival. Alumnus of the Berlinale and Guadalajara Talent Campuses and of the EAVE's PUENTES. Invited professor at EICTV in Cuba and UFM film school in Guatemala.

Producer of César Díaz's projects FIDELIDAD and CALETAS, Justin Lerner's third feature film CADEJO BLANCO and Brazilian Frederico Machado's O SIGNO DAS TETAS. He also produced Fabián Suárez Ávila's CHERRI (in post-production), and is currently developing Andres Rodriguez' LOS INVISIBLES. Production Manager of Jayro Bustamante's films TEMBLORES and LA LLORONA, and Camila Urrutia's GUNPOWDER HEART.

Justin Lerner is an award-winning writer/director, producer and editor from Boston, Massachusetts whose first feature film, GIRLFRIEND, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won the Gotham Independent Film Audience Award. His second feature film, THE AUTOMATIC HATE, made its world premiere at SXSW Film Festival and was nominated for the Flash Forward Award (best first or second feature) at Busan International Film Festival. Lerner recently completed his third feature film, CADEJO BLANCO, a Spanish language co-production between Guatemala, USA, and Mexico. It premiered at Toronto International Film Festival and Guadalajara International Film Festival, and will be released theatrically in late-2022 in the U.S., Canada, Spain, France and throughout Latin America. He splits his time between Guatemala and the USA.
